Two Up

Two of my favourite tunes right now. The first one is a psychedellic disco funk groove my those crazy guys called Crazy Penis.

Crazy P - Disc Odyssey

And the second track is a remix of Walter Meego by Escort. Really cool track with a good sorta feel to it. Check out escorts myface for they have heaps of other cool tunes. Especially 'Starlight'. Epic song. But for now i will leave you with this...

Walter Meego - Forever (Escort Remix)

Jimmyjams

Jimmyjams has been quietly progressing through the Brisbane ranks. While still relatively unknown, he has a great maturity to his sound. While there have been countless young DJ's bursting onto the Brisbane scene of late, few have taken the time and effort to hone their skills and broaden their musical spectrum like Jimmyjams has. He has settled into pushing music he has always been a big advocate of: Jackin' and funk filled house. He has proven his technical talent behind the decks at some of brisbanes best clubs, and if you listen to this mix you will see that James Cameron also has strong track selection skills to boot.

Here's his mix:

Tracklist:

Candy Apple ft. Anjou - Step 2 Me (Inland Knights Remix)
Random Soul - Bodies Movin' (Chuck Love's Golden Century Dub)
Random Soul - It feel's Alright (Miguel Migs Petal Pusher Remix)
Jay West - Drink and Dance (Giom Remix)
Smart Dog - Dancing Moves (Giom Remix)
White Lotus Society - Fuck Party (Back Door Dub)
Urban Soul, Roland Clark - Have a good time (Mr. V's Sole Channel Mix)
Tovar - Got to let you
Yothu Yindi - Treaty
Matthew Bandy and Jevne feat Fourfeet - We are One (Lazy Days Vocal)
Jimmy Cliff - I can see clearly now

Artist of the Moment 1: Treasure Fingers

Ashley Jones AKA Treasure Fingers is hot property right now. Signed the A-Traks label 'Fools Gold', he's taken the best elements of the Indie dance fad and combined them with some disco, some catchy melodies and some feel-good. He's one of my favourite artists right now, and you should take the time out to get to know his stuff.
